About the center

Since 2008, The Hadassah ALS Clinic has been collecting extensive clinical phenotypic data in database format, providing a valuable resource facilitating epidemiological and genetic research. The center is currently involved in a number of epidemiological, genetic, and biomarker-based studies as well as multicentre and single-center ( first in human) therapeutic ALS trials.

Marc Gotkine

Head of Neuromuscular and EMG Unit, Head of ALS clinic

Marc Gotkine received his medical degree from King’s College, London, before completing a residency in Neurology at Hadassah University Hospital in Jerusalem, where he now works as a senior neurologist. He established the multidisciplinary Hadassah ALS clinic in 2008, which serves as a clinical and research center.
