This spring, Dutch mountaineer Eric Arnold will attempt to climb Mount Everest once again, after having to cancel the climb in 2014 due to the unfortunate accident on Everest in which several sherpas died. And, Eric is not just climbing for himself, he is also doing this to support Project MinE! Project MinE will follow Eric on his endeavour in the coming months and we will report on his progress through this website and our social media channels. The analogy between conquering a mountain and conquering ALS is what motivates Eric. Both require many small steps, but the person that persists will reach his goal: the top of the Mount Everest or a cure for ALS. In his own way and as ambassador for Project MinE, Eric hopes to be able to contribute to ALS research and he hopes to raise awareness and as much funding as possible.
